PVV – Brooklyn Lee Confirms Retirement

Dear Brooklyn,

A “fully liberated woman who does what she pleases,” in part, makes her own decisions. Regardless of what those decisions may be specifically and regardless of what factors may come into play when they’re made, you exact your power as a liberated human (woman or otherwise) every time you make an informed choice.

Do not apologize for the decisions you make, nor for the directions you turn. Life presents us all with many paths. Do not feel compelled to justify whatever factors inform yours. Just be well.

Good luck!!

LOS ANGELES - Multiple AVN Award winner Brooklyn Lee has confirmed her retirement from shooting adult movies to AVN. Lee announced her retirement May 1, on AdultDVDTalk.com.

In her post, Lee said, “Also, yes, I have retired. Off to other things and greener pastures. It’s time for me to focus on the bigger picture; my education. Just going to school & being me. All is well…the adult industry is simply no longer a place I belong or wish to be.”

Since beginning her performing career in 2010, Lee has gone on to be one of the most in-demand and decorated female performers in the industry excelling in all-sex movies as well as scoring lead roles in major feature productions. There is no doubt Lee leaves the industry at the height of her career.

In 2013 Lee won five AVN Awards for Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene, Best Anal Sex Scene, Best Three-Way Sex Scene (G/G/B) and Most Outrageous Sex Scene. She also was nominated for Female Performer of the Year and Best Actress. Just last week Lee took home XRCO Awards for Orgasmic Oralist and Superslut.

“There has been some speculation that I quit because of my long-time boyfriend, who is a figure behind the scenes in the industry,” Lee wrote. “I would love to tell you that I am a fully liberated woman who does what she pleases and can easily separate work life from home. I won’t lie to you. While the man that I love never once asked me to quit performing, I did do so in part because of him. When you reach a point where you loathe heading to set because there’s only one person in the world you have any desire to have sex with, it’s time to move on from sex work… so I did.

“I take with me many fond memories and unique experiences; I wish the very best to my friends that remain in adult. I came, I saw, I conquered…and now I’m done.”
