Review – A Wet Dream on Elm Street & This Ain’t Dracula XXX

(In this review, A Wet Dream on Elm Street is a PVV Recommended Film)

* * *

I love Halloween!! It’s one of my favorite times of year.

I love dressing up (last year I was Jean Grey, and the year before I was Veronica Corningstone, and the year before that I was Diana Ross, and the year before that I was…), and I love all the “for-fun” scary. There’s enough “real” scary in the world that the “for-fun” version is a delightful treat.

Anyway, I just love Halloween, so I thought would review some Halloween-ish – or, “Halloweenie,” if you will… tee hee – content to get you all in the holiday spirit. So here we have Tom Byron Pictures’ A Wet Dream on Elm Street (2011) and Hustler’s This Ain’t Dracula XXX (2011) – two very different horror-themed adult films. Enjoy!!

A Wet Dream on Elm Street (2011) – A PVV Recommended Film

Directed by Lee Roy Myers, Tom Byron Pictures’ A Wet Dream on Elm Street is pretty much perfect. Honestly.

Wet Dream lampoons Wes Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) and the subsequent franchise. It is absolutely ridiculously hilarious.

In a little flashback sequence, we are regaled with the story of Freddy Fingers, some asshole who sold sex toys out of the trunk of his car. When his customer base found out he was overcharging and misrepresenting his products, there was hell to pay!!

Then Freddy, who was burnt from the waist up, vowed revenge. So now, two years later, he’s back, fingering girls into unconsciousness with his four-dildo slangin’ love glove.

It’s amazing.

The dialogue is hysterical. Anthony Rosano, who plays Freddy Fingers, once again shows us why he’s the go-to character actor in adult today (and by the way, have you seen Man Vs Pussy?? Anthony = nothing less than amazing), and Tommy Pistol is just as funny. Charley Chase, Sophie Dee, and Gracie Glam are all also hilarious as attendees of a two-year high school reunion… none of whom are too sure they’re actually afraid to meet Freddy.

(pictured: Anthony Rosano as Freddy Fingers)

Not to be forgotten, ancillary performers Jennifer White and Giselle Leon deliver some great one-liners too. And Chris Johnson knocks out a good scene in the beginning.

And speaking of scenes, there are five total sex scenes in Wet Dream. Highlights included an interesting solo performed by Gracie Glam and a bang out boy-girl between Charley Chase and Tommy Pistol that was ri-dic-u-lous (as in ridiculously good).

In the end, real-life horror enthusiast Sophie Dee steals the batteries from Freddy’s fingers. Sad and no longer able to manipulate his good vibrations, Freddy launches into a series of “Noooo!!!”s that summed up my feelings precisely. Wet Dream kept me laughing out loud and fully entertained from beginning to end, and I was sorry it was over.

All movies should be this good

This Ain’t Dracula XXX (2011)

Directed by Axel Braun, Hustler’s This Ain’t Dracula XXX is a marked turn from Wet Dream. Dracula XXX borrows from Francis Ford Coppola’s serious, and seriously sexy, Dracula (1992).

Right off, I could tell Dracula XXX was more of an homage than a parody; but I was pleased to see that the Jonathan character (Ryan Driller) actually gets to have sex with those three vampire harpie things (Brandy Aniston, Bridgette B, and Jennifer Dark) living in the count’s castle.

From there, it pretty much follows the source material, but with the added bonus of all those sexy things you wanted to see in the Keanu Reeves version – trampy Lucy (Marie McCray) and prissy Mina (Jessi Palmer) are just as close as you’d want them to be and the crazy guy in the asylum (Tom Byron) gets to have sex before he makes his significant prophecy. There are all the undead twists and trysts you could ever want, ending in Dracula (Evan Stone) ravaging his long lost love.

Dracula XXX is well-done, with beautiful special effects and effective voice-over narration. It comes in both 3D and regular versions…

(3D Dracula porn!!!! there’s really nothing more to say… except that I really really don’t like 3D. it makes me feel kinda dizzy…)

…and sticks pretty close to the source material (from what I can tell). And although the end scene unravels some in terms of narrative and timing, Dracula XXX is a serious, sexy flick that I think anyone even marginally into this subculture will enjoy. And the final frames, when Mina bites Dracula’s chest after some incredibly intense sex… well, that was pretty hott.

So there you go, bebes – whether you want your scary “silly” or “serious” this weekend, you now have two solid options. You don’t have to thank me ;)

…but I don’t think I’m done with scary porn yet for the year. There’s definitely more to come!!

Boo!!!
