Married porn star? Married porn star guy has sex with countless hot ladies for over a decade but only has eyes for the love of his life – his wife of twelve years?! And wait, what?!! – his wife’s a porn star too?!!
Now I totally may be blowing your mind with this fantastic tale, if it were in fact a tale. But for Eric Masterson, this is simply… life.
Eric took a few moments out to answer some questions for PVVOnline. Read on to see what he has to say about living, loving his lady, and working as talent in a rapidly changing industry.
How long have you worked in the adult film industry, and what exactly do you do?
“I’ve been in the porn industry for about eleven years now. I’m mainly a performer; but the way I look at it, no job is too big or too small. I’ve directed for Naughty America for two years, I work as an Assistant Director for Adam & Eve, I’ve done some still shooting, and I even work as a PA (production assistant) from time to time.
Goodness! What made you sign up for all that?
Well, my lovely and talented wife Maya Divine was feature dancing back in the late 1990s. Back in those days, to make more money dancing you needed porn credits. So, with that in mind and some things changing where we lived in Florida, we decided to pack up and move to LA.

Oh wow, so it was a joint effort between the two of you!! Do you think working in the industry has affected your and Maya’s relationship?
Oh hell yes it has, but in a great way. Me and Maya just passed twelve years together, and we couldn’t be happier. We both work as talent, which has really helped us communicate more and get past any sexual hang-ups that might arise in a ‘normal’ relationship. We both say that without the industry we probably wouldn’t have lasted at all lol!
This is almost too cute… ok so after all this time, what’s your favorite thing about working as talent? Is there anything surprising about the industry?
Well, in general, I love the work I’m in. Sure some days suck, but that happens everywhere. All I can say is that the good definitely outweighs the bad.
My favorite thing about working as talent is getting to do so many interesting roles. I’m a killer one minute, a lonely guy the next. And hey, let’s not forget about the sex with beautiful women part – that goes a long way. The most surprising thing about the industry, besides that the pay me, has to be how professionally it is run.

So, I’m just curious – people talk a lot about the industry changing… Given everything that you do, where do you see yourself in five years?
Hmm well I’m not really sure. The industry is definitely at a changing point, but I can tell you this much – I still see myself involved in porn in some way or another.
And, given that, I really appreciate fan support and look forward to continuing on. I really love what I do, and I don’t hide much. Hell if anyone has anything to ask me, go for it – it’s all good.”
I remember the first time I saw some of Eric’s work – Wicked Pictures’ Camp Cuddle Pines Powertool Massacre (2005). His scene with Keri Sable still ranks as one of the hottest I’ve ever seen. Plus, the guy can act and he’s damn funny (seriously). I’m not very “fannish,” but I definitely liked me some Eric Masterson from that film on. Thus, when I finally actually met him at Erotica LA in 2007, it was a little bit like getting your favorite athlete’s autograph… only different. My pal DEC snapped this picture of Eric and me – can you tell how excited I was?
This exemplifies how good of a guy Eric is – who else would be so congenial about such a giant dork (me!) wanting a photo?
Show this working man some love – be his friend on Facebook, and ask him about his life. He’s an open book and knowing just a little bit about his story gives us new insight into the world of adult.
